Does anyone know of any farm type tractors that was used in military service? I have a friend that is a big tractor puller that was wanting to make one up as a military tractor but I have looked on this site as well as my military books and cannot find anything.
I could have sworn I have seen...
I never really paid much attention to how big a M911 really is until now with the above picture, WOW it is huge, makes the 5 ton look like a toy! I will have to add one to my wish list.
I would like to put it in my front yard to finish p****** off the neighbors, they don't care to much for my collection. My wife could even plant flowers around it to make it look good.
It would be a fun toy to start working on, I love tanks
Very cool project, good luck. I have bought from Austin Weber and Rank & File, both very good to deal with. I don't know which brush guard you are looking for but I have a couple of old style ones in great condition.
Great looking collection!! The quad fifty on the halftrack is my favorite. Where do you hide it all? my neighbors love me too, I think they are just jealous.
That is what I thought. It is the same one and it is still there. Guess that saves me a trip across town.
This guy always has one or two sitting around and has a couple of warehouses full of parts. The last time I was there he also had a restored M998 and a M151A2 with every option made.
DJ,
I will try to get by there and get some pics by Monday at the latest. But the pic that Ted posted shows it very well, in fact it looks identical to the one I was talking about, parking lot and all, very strange...
