Thanks!! Yeah I was having a SNAFU with the "Managae Attachments" window. Should be up now.
Still having a problem uploading more. The window says "Uploading Files - Please Wait" but doesn't ever say that it's finish or give an indication that I can see.
Hey everybody, been a member for awhile but only recently an owner of a M1009. So i figure it's about time I'd share.
I bought my M1009 a little over 2 months ago from SS member A3superdeuce. Great guyto get to know and to deal with. Still getting to know the truck and going through the PMS...
Mine was doing something like this for the past week or so. Lift the hood and the engine was making a horrible noise on top of the Diesel clatter. Turn outthe air filter housing was loose. The nuts had backed off enough to allow the housing to resonate at idle. Tightened them up and good to go...
Hey Rob. I just trailered my M1009 back to my place a couple months ago. The 79.6" dimension seems right and is measured from the outside surface of the tires. Or atleast the outer edge of the tread pattern. The front axle, that is. It seems my rear axle measures slightly narrower. The body...
Real sorry to hear that. Like I said give a hollar if you need anything.
Gotta couple questions for ya:
1. How do the rockers and inner rockers look?
2. Seeing as I also own a former FD vehicle (which you saw, sad as it is right now) I'm curious what the decal mid-quarter panel on your...
Anybody planning on making a MV presence at the Dream Cruise this upcoming weekend?
I got talked into to taking my 1009 since our GTO still in the body shop. I just wanted to see if anyone else had intentions on going. Maybe meet up.
Hey everybody. This was forwarded along to me and I did do a SS search to no avail. I am NOT listing this and only thought it was interesting and worth sharing for discussion purposes.

I wondered how long it...
Sounds like a good time.
The Champaign Aviation Museum in Urbana Ohio has a former Airspray A-26, Tanker 32. They ferried it to the museum a couple of years ago and it has sat due to cracked wing spar. It's next in line for restoration after their B-17 gets finished and up in the air.
Mid-air with a A-1H Skyraider at Duxford England. Pilot bailed and the Spad was able to land.

Another terrrible accident but atleast all are OK.
Thanks. Thats what I needed to see. Looks like i'll need to trim both the core support brackets as well as the frame to get the mounts to seat where they need to be. The bumper itself looks like it too will need a a lil trimming on it's upper corners, maybe not. We'll see how much adjustment...
Thanks for the reply.
Yes but is the difference in the frame in the area of the Frame horns? I seem to recall a guy who swap a 84 front end on to a pre 80 truck with out mention of issue. I was thinking the difference might be in the RCS bracket since the RCS is different. I do know the some...
I'm adapting CUCV D-ring mounts to my civy 79 Suburban and I'm running into an interference issue between the D-ring mount and the Radiator Core support mount bracket. Before I start clearencing the RCS bracket I was wondering if anyone could post up some pics of the front frame horns area on a...
Sounds like you're at the point of breaking the axle U-bolts loose. I can't recall what the correct size is. (if no one validates this, when i get home i can double check the socket i used). I just did this on my Suburban. If your bolts like mine haven't moved since initial assembly make sure...
