I wish I new someone that had hvac stuff to use. I have been looking online for cheap heater or heater cores. I have found good stuff with just cores but I would be afraid I would burn the house down. So I am looking for heaters if I can find a few.
This was my thoughts i just need to get a good day to run it under load. How do you
guys run your gens under constant full load? I can only place a high load on it
for a short time. It takes the dryer and stove to get it even close. Those kick
on and off so i have yet to find a way to keep a...

Valve adjustment was done today. If I did it right thats done. I am almost down to compression but I have not found a fitting or guage that I can use to do the compression test.
The last time I ran it before injector adjustment and valve adjustment and all it stopped missing and smoking after...
I got them adjusted already by you. I have not load tested it since I got them back. I am trying to deal with the hard starts and smoke with puttering/missing.
This is what I am talking about. This is an extra pump. I show in the video the slop. It movies a small amount with the bit in.
I cant post the video but I will try to sent it to you.
So I have a injector pump from a mep I have for parts. Its off the genset. When I place that same bit into the whole on the side of the injector pump I can turn the main pump gear a little giving it some slop. This was what I felt as I described the slop on the one I was timing. Does that make...
So the pump has already been installed i was checking to make sure the pump was correctly times. So i placed the Engine on the PC mark and was able to stick a 1/8th into the injector side ports. I say it has play becuase i can turn the engine a small amount so its just off of the dead on PC mark...
So i got right on the PC mark and the 1/8 th bit went in all the way into the injector pump. It does have a bit of slop (meaning it will still go in if its a bit in front or behind the pc mark) so i am not sure how that would tell me its righ on or a tooth off but it went in no problem. When it...
I have that info from the tm but I dont understand it. Is what I am doing correct? When it says place the enigne on the "PC" mark does that mean a mark on it should show "PC" like it shows "A" and "B"? Or am I looking for something different?
The unit runs just does not like to start so I am making sure the timing it not off. I have the timing marker on "A" with cylinder 1 on compression. If this is the correct location for it. I will place a 1/8 th drill bit in the side of the injector pump to make sure it is also in the correct...
I am working on it (timing the injector pump) now so i have a fast question. I am going to use the 1/8th drill bit in the side hole of the injector pump to keep it from moving. This is the same pump that was already on it. I have the engine on compresion for cylinder one and the timing mark is...
