I feel dumb i looked at those pics on the TM already but did not prosses it its on the other side of the filters thats why i did not see it. My fault. Thanks i did not know that was the aux switch but that also makes since. Thanks everyone.
So in pic 2 you see the 3 pumps. The two next each other are normal. Pic 3 shows the one I am talking about. The line you see in pic 3 comes right from the tank. And hook into that thing. Is that a pump with a check valve? Have you guys seen it before? Pic one shows an item that has wires...
So as part of my trouble shooting to figure out why my unit is hard to start I am looking to make sure I have a fuel flow check valve. I cant find it. My main fuel line from the tank goes right to a pump. The pump does not look normal like the other 2 so maybe its got it build in. I dont know so...
When you are dont can you let us know the stats of the meters? How accurate its max and mins and so on. Also posting the install directions so we can see how involved it is?
Well that makes more sine and this a lot easier. I read dont remove factory set so I was trying to get this done without that. Thanks and thanks for the patience I am a bit slow at time.
Where do I place the 1/8 drill bit? Do I take out a screw? The pump is installed. Is there a way to test the timing after its installed? What I did was mark the teeth on the injector pump when I took it off and placed it on the same mark when I placed it back.i want to check it to make sure its...
Ok I read on how to make sure the timing on the injector pump is right. I must be dumb I did not follow it at all. I don't have a button. Its the unit that was running on it already all I did was change the o rings in the pump. Anyone have a video or a dumbed down version?
I took a look but I have the new filter kit that I bought here that converts it to the new type of filters and it has 2 filters. Anyone with this setup know how to bleed the fuel system?
Completed
Injectors = recalibrated
Throttle linkage sticking= not sticking
Bad glow plugs = check good
Using fuel additive = I am using additive is that bad or good?
Crappy fuel = has additive and is a month or so old
dirty filters = filter kit was installed and new filters have about 1 hour on...
What are the reasons you can think of that would lead to a hard cold start?
Bad glow plugs
Bad injectors
Fuel Bleeding down
Compression
If you have any others or think what I have listed is wrong let me know. I am trying to figure out why I have a hard time starting the mep003a.
