Here is my 1984 m1009 pics, I picked her up yesterday. She has lots of work to be done. The plan is to get all gauges and patch work done. The paint is still in the plans.

Guys I have worked on almost everything except a Diesel engine. I look forward to the challenge and the reward. My grandson is 10 I would love to get him envolved in a project. He would enjoy it and want to drive it to school one day. He loves military stuff.

The plastic part of the radiator has a crack. Is that something I should be extremely concerned with? What I mean is that something that would be caused by high pressure backup? Would it just be a defective part like the BMW has issues with? Just checking to see if that would have been caused by...
ok autozone sells the inner and outer bearings and races for about $30 and then the inner seal for $7 all in stock... so for about $75 can do both sides
Any idea where the best place to buy the complete kit. I am going to go ahead and do both sides once I get it home just to be safe and have it done with.
