I'd recommend not putting it under the fuel tank. Aside from tools getting caught on brushes & etc. In case of needing the shovel or other tool that may be the hardest place to retrieve from. Especially if you are knee deep in mud or sand & need the shovel. I think that is why the humvees moved...
319 Don't know about the join date. I guess I joined before I was born. I think it is an anomaly from converting from the old site. There are a few others with the same date too.

At Eglin on Thursday there were @ 10 (A2's & A3's) pulled to the side with FMS stickers in the windows but there were also @ 10 not yet marked for sale or otherwise. The ones w/ FMS stickers did not appear to have ever been marked for any sale.:?:

Picked up three tents this morning. Met Green_Gator and talked a few minutes but we had to get out of the way since we were loaded and needed to go. Some of the tents they (GL) had there were complete sets including the tables & etc. So some people may be pleasantly surprised when they open...
Looks like an early M60 to me. They had the M48 turrets with the 60 commanders cupola IIRC, but the front plate in front of the driver is flat like the 60 and not rounded like the 48.
Anyone have a lead or know where I may get the round "base" for the drain plug retainer. Reproductions are fine as I am sure there is no part # since it is welded to the tub.
If I recall correctly the only real diff between the M101 & M101A1 is the placement of the handles for the brakes so the A1 manual should work for the most part.

I fly a yellow Don't Tread on Me flag on one of the antenna's of my 1009 in parades. Being as it is one of the first American flags seems to make it OK.
There was a thread where I asked a similar question. I don't think thare any pics of the inside but for the most part I do not think there is anything inside. It may just be a cover.
