    M800 series

No worries Lloyd. I also love big trucks, the bigger the better. Only reason I would rather have a deuce is the running costs are cheaper. Unfortunately in this country a few hundred miles would cost a weeks wages in diesel.

    Anyone going to Beltring 2006?

Is there anyone from this site going to Beltring this year with a deuce, going there planning to sell a deuce or just going there to have a look around? Unfortunately I will only be going for a day, on Friday the 21st of July. I am looking to buy a deuce. I'm hoping I will find one there. Let...

The deuce on the autobahn in video gallery

Can the person who loaded this video tell me exactly what deuce you have, and what the trans set up is please? I notice 50MPH at just over 2100RPM. When I drove one it was maxing out at 2600 doing 45MPH. Are you going to Beltring again this year, as I am. So might see you there. You might want...

    M800 series

I'm getting brain ache about this wrecker Kenny. My heart wants it, as it is so rare over here and it is in very good condition. But my head is telling me it would be too expensive to run. This 5 ton long bed cargo he has sounds interesting. It's got a winch too. With the multifuel engine it...

Now look what you guys made me do!!

Man, that looks a very nice truck. I've been after one for over 10 years and still haven't got one. I started small with Military Land Rovers. I've had three since 1989 and two of them I still own. I wish we had those auctions over here. :(

    M800 series

Ah, I see, thanks for that. Not sure I want one with a cummins engine. I know they are a good engine, but with the price of fuel the way it is I'd be better off getting a multifuel as I can mix some different fuels to keep the price down.

    M816 5 Ton Medium Wrecker

Thats a nice couple of photo's Kenny. The guy has a long bed 5 ton cargo. I will have a look at that also. The wrecker is a bit on the un-affordable side for me. I could buy it, but that would clean me out. I will call the guy tomorrow and see if I can get up on Thurs or Fri to have a look at...

    M800 series

What is the difference between the 800 series 5 ton trucks like the M816 wrecker, M817 Dumper, M813 cargo to the other 5 ton trucks like the M51 dumper, M52 tractor, M54 cargo? Is it just a matter of them being newer, or are the specs totally different? :?:

    M816 5 Ton Medium Wrecker

Brent, What do these wreckers weigh and what type of cummins engine would it have in it? I saw one of these for sale about 3 months ago. It was going for £9,500. I can't believe how original this truck looks. The bumper markings on the dumper look original too. He has a long bed 5 ton cargo for...

    M816 5 Ton Medium Wrecker

Thanks Elwenil. This wrecker sure looks very nice. Do you think the bumper markings are original? From the civilian registration it's registered as a 1968/9 truck. what do you think, is it worth going to look at?

    M816 5 Ton Medium Wrecker

Just called this guy. He has got the M816 medium wrecker, 2x M817 Dumpers and a 5 ton longbed cargo with winch for sale. He said he is selling them due to ill health, and he sounded ill too. The wrecker has a cummins engine fitted. What do these truck do to the gallon? He wants around £7,500...

    M816 5 Ton Medium Wrecker

Ok guys, I have finally been sent some photo's of the wrecker that has been advertised. They aren't all that great. Can you wrecker experts cast your eyes over the pictures and let me know what you think? Does everything look like it is all there? What engines do these have in them? I notice a...

    Why didn't I buy?

I test drove this truck a few years ago. I agreed a price with the owner for £5,250, he wanted £5,300. He was only prepared to knock off £50, even though the guy owned a big steel fabrication yard and was obviously loaded. He even had two WW2 Macks, one was only half re-built and that cost him...

    813 and harvest time

Lloyd, Those are some nice looking mellons man. But I can see why your formans wife has got a smile on her face. I would too if I went to work and got to drive a truck like that. Does she whistle?

    M816 Medium Wrecker??

Here is an add that's just gone in today. Does this make any sense to you guys? Is he selling a 5 ton wrecker or a dumper. He seems to be talking about 3 different vehicles M816 and 2 M817 with and with out winch, but says it would make a nice VEHICLE to own. 5-ton medium wrecker...

Hey Kenny, I love that trailer. Is that a genuine issue trailer, or has it been made up using suitable vehicle bits?
