I use (3) similar 1/4 x 20 knobs on the top of my tray . Never thought about the lower pins but I like them and will copy that idea.

I'd venture most of the miles put on them when in the service were by kids basically just learning to drive.
And they drove them like they stole them.
So are you saying e-brake as in only one ? on the rear drive shaft?
or has it been upgraded to the new style with (2) new calipers on both rear wheels?

You could always upgrade the parking brake's to the newer style .
This will give you a new brake lever with a lockout lever .
Also stays completely military.
I'd still chock the wheels as an added measure.

I have some aircraft ammo box's/ cans that are smaller then those for a .50 but they are basically silver colored .
Most aircraft stuff I've ever seen that was WW2 era was just silver / bare aluminum colored .
Newer stuff seems to be a funky light green color.

I at one time planned on adding an a/c compressor for on board air. I never installed it but from what I remember there were 2 different size serpentine belts for With or Without air.
Might be worth having stored on rig just in case for future.

Your going to have to remove all the connectors on the back of it and drill some new clearance holes to fit into the radio tray.
At least I had to.
