x doors with supplemental skins (1st gen armor) look smooth on the outside of the door however you still see the X on the inside.
If they aren't those they are soft doors .
With patience you might find all the missing parts to the turret support piece by piece.
figure an additional 10k above...
Before I spent a dollar I'd tell you to spend more time then money checking to make sure you will be able to drive it on the street.
If you live in PA. and have an opportunity to buy one already plated in PA then you may be way ahead of the curve. Notice I said plated not just titled. does the...
I just removed both rear sponson's and hatch and c pillar tube.
I didn't have to jack up the roof.
I installed some new modified GMV style C pillar supports and a new C pillar tube.
Once the hatch was removed .
I removed the 3 bolts from the center spoon in the tube and the 2 other corner...
No body is missing Your Personal Preference we get it you put it on your truck.
I doubt it actually increases the value of the truck .
You disagree. No problem.
Op asked for opinions we both gave him something to think about.
You seem to be the one offended.
Enjoy your truck.

My HMMWV is flat black. That's how it was when I got it 12-13 years ago.
I may some day entertain a 686 tan color.
Just my opinion but I'd stay away from painting the outside of the vehicle with bed liner and to be honest even the inside.
However it is your truck. My opinion is try to keep it as...
I'd take what they will give you.

The one made by IBES TEK also raises and lowers the tire to the ground but I believe it uses a cable to do it .
And the original design used on the civilian H1 . But that required you lifting the tires on and...
DR I checked out one of the install videos I found under Damage Control Customs.
Those look good. I wanted the studs to also attach the side steps and ammo cans . Was afraid that the added weight of people standing on steps would eventually take it's toll on the aluminum with just a washer...
I'm guessing they just do the rocker panel. ? The factory H1 rails also protected the floor boards under the seats as they protruded under the truck to the frame rail as well as up into the front wheel well a little ways.
Curious if the ones from Amazon come with any kind of backing plates or...
Now you just need the ammo can and feed chute adapter lid.
They are harder to find then the feed chuting.
I saw one show up on ebay once along time ago and it was just the ammo can lid starting price was $900
I found a can with the original markings still intact that says 1500 rnds of ammo for...
Ebay or the parts for sale section on this board. or better yet post a WTB in the HMMWV section.
Also over on the parts wanted section on the G.503 forum under HMMWV.
Or you can send 86humv a PM on either forum.

Why not get an off the shelf flux capacitor and then attached it to a 3 phase shifter with a negative space wedgie for park.
Can somebody please start a hot rodding HMMWV section or modified HMMWV section and leave this one alone.
