Welcome...
I would look for a CUCV d60/ 14b for your swap.. if it came from a M1008 it will have a Dlocker in the 14 and 4.56 gears.. which will save you some $ in doing the swap. Then, just pick up a E locker for your new D60.. and you will be all set.... Ask me how i know....
if you...
My viair onboard air system arrived... Began fabing up mount for compressors (2)... and looking over CUCV to see how and where the air lines and such will be routed...
it could also be a short in the turn signal switch in steering column.. as i had sort of the same issue.. when installing a salvaged tilt steering column... I would replace that before tearing into back of fuse panel... part is around $20.00 at local parts house.
there could be a number of issues causing this... as dstang 97 had asked... what happens when you put flashers on? D you hear any " blinking sound" either with flashers or just a turn signal on?
okay.. I went trail riding over the weekend.. and on a trail called Axle Hill, i ended up breaking front driveshaft... No worries... easy fix.. ( just a trip to axle shop and have it retubed.. about $100.) But while i was... stuck on the incline.. removing what was left of driveshaft... I...
cant see any real cons here..... Im still not sure why GM didnt have a drain plug for the 400 in the begining.... guess the cost of a threaded insert and bolt was too much....
I would personally still find a way to keep it... its paid for and free and clear... and needs no work to get in and drive... its not going to cost you anything, except insurance... and your still on the fence in Selling..... trust me, you will be aua later once its gone.....
i have a...
i just ordered a Viair Extreme kit part #10009 should have it in a day or 2.... Dual 350cc 12v compressors, Duty Cycle: 100% @ 100 PSI, Max. Working Pressure: 150 PSI Also get the Switches, fittings, tank, gauge, etc... Everything to install.. Im also adding a 2nd tank for more of a...
Well after a good day of trailing riding.. this happened.... and I didnt carry spare... gonna go with thicker tube this time around... Will be a cheap fix.... but it looks as my friend will have to replace leaf springs on his though....
videos to be posted soon....
check to see if there is a short with black out switch.. as i believe.. ( not 100% ) the switch kills voltage to the power going to lights... best bet would be to search over wiring diagram in -TM's trace down thw wires from black switches and go from there.....
thats a good idea... and safer....lol I will be looking into that.....
the details in proper operation of the doubler, are listed in instructions.... its simple and straight forward....
I think the difference though between the 203 and 241 gear ratios, wont be noticed much at all, given the fact... its recomemded per ORD to leave the 203 in High, until you already have the 205 in low and need to go lower... meaning its not recomended to run the 203 in low and 205 in...
the 203 is cast Steel....
going with the 203/205 will in the end be a better choice IMO because. both units are gear driven, no belts too Slip.. or chains to stretch or break.
Are you going to twin stick the 205? ( its worth it while your piecing this together.... I love mine.... )...
Went to Salvage yard... picked up a replacement for the replacement Steering column... got the key changed out.. cleaned, and painted... hopefully have it in tomorrow...
done a quick shake down on all the new Steering components, Noticed the hydro ram is bottoming out a bit when turned to...
It really depends on that adapter you are searching for..... there is no mounting to crossmember on the 203... it will be on that adpater... the adapter that mates the 203 to the 205 will be the other mounting point... i would recomemd gettting a 2nd Cross member from salvage yard, as you...
