I was calling around today looking for the rear right side stab pocket that are on the 5 ton wreckers. There was not one for under $100 !!! OUCH !!! I can not be leave one of these is that high in price. If anyone is going junk yarding, Can you check into one for me? PM me please. Thank you...

You got that right. Thats why I park the 5 ton for the winter. Helps in KEEPING it.

I have a propane set up on my 5 ton. There is a different way to add it as there are people that do. The truck is put away for the winter. Ill try and draw or get some pictures. I run it through a regulator. Between 1900 and 2200 It is a bear thats coming. After 2200 there is little difference...

In NY Can not drive it more then 2500 miles in one year. Can not use it for what it was build for. No using it to make $$. Only to burn fuel.

At one time there was a M543a2 or the M819 I think. Well anyway it was not far from me that had a boom extension on it. The guy made it the ladder frame type. It does look like a lot of work. But I dont know how much you would put on it and hope it does not fold something. My $0.05 worth. Matt

stuff M1061a1 OR M1061a2 It is a 5 ton trailer. 4 single wheels. Like what they used for the laundry units. The extra tongue is used when they tow them behind tracked stuff. I had a picture but can not find it now. ( of course ) I will have to take another picture when the big light is on...

In ny when I stop ( it also says all trucks ) ether I just get waved throw or when they do stop me I get asked why did I stop? Other state may be different. Got historical plates on it. My $0.05 worth.

Ok I am on there now too. Yes it is nice to know where people are that are on the list. It puts more of a picture to the name.

Mostly at 50. It seems to like it there. When on the interstate before one of those long or steep hills. I run it up to all it will do. 1/2 way up the hill the propane comes on and it smokes like hell. Thats on bio.

5 ton I wish I could find one for a 5 ton. :roll:

Some place I read that the multi fuel meant that the make up of diesel here is different then over there. NOT anything in the tank to burn. It also said you can use gas only if you mix it 1/2 with diesel. I know this was a old army book but witch one I am not sure. My $0.05 worth.
