I did my own. Was to short. ( wife tells me she is going to look for some string ) LOL
I put one on because it was getting a little messy under there. It hangs just below the wrench drive shaft.
What is the part # and who would have them. I know there going to be a lot.
The primary filter that is white but is not paper. Seen them in some trucks.
Re: RE: Re: hot hubs
I made a thing that bolts to my trans. jack that holds the drum/hub on it with the wheel nuts
I should have taken a picture of it.
hot hubs solved
:D
You would not be leave what I found. Was not the bearings. ( I have some good used ones)
How many times do you buy a seal and if it fits, it must have been made right.
Well ( not saying that it was made wrong OR where it was bought has bad new seals)
I think it is just...
again
I changed both bearings and races. Took it for a 5 mile ride.
THE SAME THING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, what next? May be the seal is to tight? I am going to try to shave some rubber off the
seal. About 1/16" . As far as being bent I don't think so. This all started after I repacked
the...
I have been making my own bio. I have been doing the thinning method. In the bio section I and Cranetruck have done some typing on this. Multi fuel eng. seem to do fine on a 50% mix. Even put some in the frig. and freezer. ( rubs head from wifes find )
Read the other tread. There is a TON of...
I think there is a air line that emptys into it. I unscrewed that and put a little of that oil in there. Reinstall the line and worked the brakes. Mine is also stuck and rounded. Was going to just drill it and re thread it. Maybe after the wheel bearing nightmare.
Great picture !!! Many of the guys tell me the hard thing is battery s for there personal stuff and lady's things. GOD be safe and careful over there. To day I watched them load rail cars with the m35 and m900''s . I do not know where there going but there going.
the multi will not mind the 20% mix. the only thing is if it got real cold. ( od course with any oil that cold will get thick)
I would be more into the controls for the auto start and the throttle controls.
My $0.05 worth
Mine has the seat in it that the seat part flips up. Has 2 bucket seats. Not a bench seat. Of course a picture would be a great thing about now. Looks great.
I know what you are feeling. Son in collage, 2 trucks that need TLC. ( Time and Lots of Cash )
Wifes father comes up with all these new ideas that I need to do. screams
COME ON LOTTO !!!
Great looking trucks. With 1,200 gals.9600lbs. + 60-70 mph= a long way to STOP on them brakes. Even with 5 ton.
I don't mean to be negative. I been driving trucks since I was 13. Stopping is a very large battle in it self when you have to.
I take my time. Like about 45-50. If I'm to slow, pass...
There is nothing like the sound of a 238 screaming Nelly. At on time there was a comp. here had them in there trucks. ( looked like 238 ) You know when they was coming.
