As far as looks, they should look the same other then maybe the headlight position. I would start with the best overall truck, then add the better parts of the two to it. Either sell one or keep it as a rolling spare part truck.
Does your a1 have the air shift axle, or is it a sprag? I...
Just get a cheap 24v to 12v converter off ebay. I have 3 that cost me about 10 bucks each. They claim 30amp output. I put two up front, and one in the box of my m109.
I have one on my Bronco, using gutter mounts and simulated gutter brackets. Not sure on a blazer, but the Bronco has plenty of steel sandwiched in the fiberglass and can support plenty of weight.
Mine keeps the batteries topped off, and has a little red light on the control box. It also removes sulfate. It needs to have access to direct sunlight.
Turning on dry pavement with front axle engaged is going to make the wheel shake, grab, bind.
Jack up one wheel at a time, grab you tire at top and bottom and try your best to wiggle. Then grab it front and rear, and try to wiggle. Use a helper and have them watch everything for play. If...
That is a good reminder to me that I need to buy a spare set of blades for my deuce, and another set for my daily driver pickup. I usually keep a spare set in my pickup, but had to replace them while out one day. Its funny how something so simple can make such a huge difference in conditions...

After clearing snow from the fender, then taking an air hose to blow the snow out of the screen of the mushroom, I believe I need to do this mod. What is the difference between the two part numbers for the Walkers SmokinYoda posted?
NM, the top link is for a 5" radius, the bottom is 8"
Man, that is cheating...... I like it.
I dismounted 22 and remounted 11 last summer with a tire hammer, after the first few, I figured out the sweet spot with my swing. I only had 2 that had me questioning why I decided to take on the project myself. After a while some soapy water and a...
This deserves it's own thread, with both the truck and camper in one thread. Heck, your truck, and his deserves its own forum. Have any photos of both of you set up at a camp ground?
In the winter, I try to get my fuel from the Kwik Star company that are around my area. They use anti gel and guarantee it. When I fill up outside of Kwik Star areas, I use plenty of Power Service.
If a fuel is labeled at Winter Blend, then I would not expect it to gel so easily. I would...
I like the look of the artic front myself the green is a nice contrast to the tan. But I used cardboard before that, and the color blended so well, you did not notice it was there.
