Might want to at least skim the operators manual once or twice before attempting to operate the truck.
To drive in reverse:
WARNING
Do not back up without a ground guide. Failure to do this may result in
damage to vehicle, injury, or death.
(1) Stop vehicle (para. 2-16)...
have used a hi-lift on my 4x4 trucks in the past. For the deuce, my duck bill tire sledge works just great. If you have a deuce, I suggest you get a tire sledge. Makes quick work of breaking a bead.
Can you put the transmission in N, then move the transfercase to 4L, then back to 2H or 4H and then the transmission in D, then go again?
Either way, you are going to need to rebuild the transfercase, or get a different one.
Either get a bigger impact with 1/2" air supply, or get a bigger cheater pipe.
Get a 3/4 drive Tbar, bud socket, short extension, tall and short jackstands, and at least a 3 foot pipe to slip over the Tbar.
Use the jackstand to leverage against when trying to loosen the lugs.
Wow, that inside looks wild. When you get a chance, take some closer photos of stuff on the inside. Also, what is the extra hood over the normal vent fan area? Also the extra little box on the left rear. I did not notice before that the windows were removed and flat panels put in their place.
Section 2-17 of your operators TM will even tell you to let it idle for 5 minutes before turning off the engine.
All my turbo vehicles, new and old get a cool down before shutting off, as they should be.
As far as the tires spinning on the rims and going flat. Those are tubed tires. If you are missing a valve stem and are leaking air, you have an issue with your tube inside the tire.
You do not need to remove a glad hand to put an air chuck. You can buy an air hose with a glad hand end...
