That would be fantastic, thank you!
Thanks, I actually already found this drawing. Now I'm looking for the part where it mounts to the pintle adaper via 4 holes.
I'm thinking about making my own chicken plate and mount setup (possibly ballistic or just for show, I'm undecided). Does anyone know the dimensions of the 4 mounting holes in the universal pintle adapter? (Shown below)
I mean, it takes skills to install those parts right? How much more skill does it really take to make a gov planet account, bid on a truck, and pull the parts off it? I feel like anyone ambitious enough to tackle a slantback coversion has to at least consider buying a parts truck.
That one has been listed for months and months. It's not gonna move at that price. Anyone that does more than 5 minutes of research will realize you can get a whole truck for less than that.
No pics because its not very exciting, but I swapped the worn out seatbelts in my m1151 for new OEM 3 point seatbelts.
The existing ones were the "2 part" type with a separate lap belt and shouder belt. Interesting concept, but they didn't work for sh*t. Jammed all the time and didn't retract...
You can get hole plugs in any size and multiple styles and materials from McMaster Carr. Just make sure you get the ones for the right sheet thickness. If the diameter is right but the sheet thickness is wrong it will be loose.
I did have to modify the bracket and hood slightly to make it fit. There are several ways it can be done, and I don't think I did it the best way honestly lol.
Its hooked up to the blackout driving light circuit, so its controlled by the standard lighting switch (all the way to the left for on).
I acknowledge RWH has been a valuable member here. Wasn't trying to pick a fight, just a little frustrating that we can't even discuss something which has many legal avenues.
But rules are rules, so I will let this go.
