I'm really not sure how cold it can get and the diesel engine still run.
-40 C sounds frigid.
Other than that, I'm also not sure how well a 1008 can cruise at 120 km/h (75mph) but I have an m1009- it can do it. They have a different gear in the rear differential.
The parts are all over the...
Thanks clinto, that picture is definitely alot better than the one I saw on LMC, of course I could've just missed it altogether.
I never saw that winged metal piece that I have on my truck in the diagram. I wonder what the deal is with that.

I went there before i posted this. I couldn't find that winged piece in the diagram at all.
Plus the diagram was pretty small. Does anyone have first hand knowledge?

Hey guys,
I recently bought one of those chrome cranks off ebay for my rear window. The thing is, I can't figure out how its supposed to go on at all.
In the picture,
#1- these are actually screws with big rubber heads on them. But they're inserted into the holes on either side of the middle...
thats a good question.
you could check it with an ohm meter, but I don't know if you'd get a good reading.
Its probably supposed to be around 1 ohm.
You could put 12 volts across it and check the current going thruogh the circuit.
ohms = volts/current. if you get 12 amps, thats 1ohm. But...
lol. I love that one.
Now this I can appreciate. It would be awesome to get into some parades/events. But people already look at me with concerned looks. Still don't know why....
What can I say, I love big trucks.
My question is, what are the PROS of having a deuce?
I don't own one currently, but I've been eyeing them and they're really starting to grow on me.
All I have right now is an M1009. Which I love, especially now that I got it running good. But those deuce +...
Can you go over that again? Specifically the two small posts. What are you measuring them in reference to, etc.? You say they "both read 12V" and then you say the bottom posts "reads 0". I'm lost.

Huntsville is beautiful. Try to kill two birds with one stone and get to the Anniston Armory for your GI M1 Garand.
While supplies last.

I thought about the winch issue, then I saw how one guy mounted the winch behind the front bumper. Doesn't seem like that would interfere. Not sure about the radiator, but I don't think it'd be a huge deal.

here's the link to the winch project...
