Holy cow, I just bought a Deuce

Its a GL from Redstone, AL. Looks pretty shabby, but hopefully I can put some love into it. In the likely chance that its not running, what are some good options for towing it back to middle GA? Does anyone have experience with a commercial towing co.? Any better options? Also, if anyone...

    uhaul trailer hitch

Thats clearly the best solution if the bumper can handle the weight, but apparently they're only rated for something like 1200 lbs. with 120 tongue weight. J

    uhaul trailer hitch

Hey guys, After lots of searching, I think I'm at a loss about which class 3 hitch to put on my m1009. I ordered the civi blazer hitch from uhaul, but when they put it up there it wouldn't fit. It was like the distance between the frame and the bottom of the bumper was too far. Do you just...

question on a 6.2 chevy suburban

I was under the impression that if diesel got cold enough, a portion of it would "precipitate" out of solution as a gel. This is definitely true with some blends of biodiesel, but dino-diesel performs better than bio-d in the cold. I'm just not sure how cold it would have to be for this to...

    Spare tire on front

This is my only big truck. As such, I've run into problems with cargo space when I'm picking up a quick load of stuff. Pine straw, hay, whatever. If its easy, I'd like to increase the space as much as I can. J

    Spare tire on front

Thats true. I've been driving for 12 years now (I'm 27) and I've never had to change a tire. I'm sure it'll happen one day, but that is a pretty good MTBF. J

    Spare tire on front

And we're back to 2-1 against. Well, I have to say, the old school pics make it easier to like for me. And due to the high practicality (presumably) I'm at least going to take it to square 2. J

    Spare tire on front

Man, this is starting to even up. I appreciate that old school photo with the camper. I haven't found anything similar on google image searches. That kinda surprised me. J

    Spare tire on front

Hey guys, I did a mock-up of the spare tire on the brush guard. I kinda like it, it might have to grow on me though. I definitely like the added space in the rear. Vote whether you approve or not. Thanks, J
