M1070 HET on weight reduction plan

    Allison M916 + Mk48 Cab = 6x6 "FEMTT"

It was funny, because quite a few people just thought that it was a HEMTT and did not realized that it was 'only' a 6x6! Seems like it has enough of 'the look' of a HEMTT that even a former '88 Mike' guy, that was talking to me about the FEMTT, did not realized until after I had mentioned it...

That is a very nice installation! I'm probably going to put A/C in the FEMTT as well.....just have not decided on which system to go with. Make sure and let us know how it works, when the weather warms up.... Soni

    Allison M916 + Mk48 Cab = 6x6 "FEMTT"

The FEMTT in the (Carpool) lane...... Oh....I almost forgot to mention that when Matt and I had to go back to get his HET, he drove the FEMTT and proved to me that the 'F' in 'FEMTT' was actually justified! Not only did he keep up with rush hour traffic on I-10, but he actually used the 'HOV'...

A "Pipe Organ" Display of Military Truck Tractors..... Here are a few pics from my trip to Phoenix last weekend, to attend the annual 'Arizona Military Vehicle Show'. The FEMTT rode nicely on the M870A1 and the M920A1 had no fuss pulling it.:driver: It was an awesome show and Matt Lane, in...

Steel Soldiers MV of the month - January VOTE HERE!

Swiss, Thank you for this post! I am humbled by the incredible bravery of these men and their trucks! I gave my vote to 'Jerseyhick' since I love the look of his creation, but I do totally agree, that the 'Proud American' needs to be the first MV of the month!!! Soni

Femtt & m870a1 Here are some pics of the FEMTT pulling my M870A1 and of a recent FEMTT hill climb test outside of Chama....It really did great! Just as a comparison, I tried to climb the same dirt hill in the M920A1, but it could not even make it a third of the way up before it started...
