Antenna Mount and Block Heater
I used the break in the cold weather, to install a Zero Start engine coolant heater
on the FEMTT. It should aid with the starting procedure on really cold mornings.
I also used opporunity to address a couple of little coolant leaks, that had developed after I...
A Little Progress....
So now that I got somewhat cought up on my "real" work and the weather finally got nicer again (it was -19F a few days ago) I had a chance to do a little more work on the FEMTT......
I got the cover for the air cleaner modified, to accept the air intake scoop off of an...
Man.... I really don't like the looks of the miss matched paint! But then, since I'm having a very generous day....I will take that toolbox off your hands! Just think about all the bracket work and all the painting I would be saving you....lol
Looks great Matt! [thumbzup]

Sorry about the late response. I installed the valve body heater that came with some of the trucks and that fixed it to the point, were it only took about 5 to 10 minutes for it to start working. (about the time to get all the air tanks pumped up)
I can look, might still have one of the...
Ok, I will take one as soon as I get a chance.....
Thanks....that's pretty funny!....lol
I guess I do have a problem with leaving things the way they are.....

Just call them with your needs and they will point you in to the right direction.
Even if you do not drive the truck all that much, CC is really a great addition to any MV...
That is one AWESOME looking truck Drew! I really like the way it all comes together and looks like a unit, when paint is applied!
I like the door logo....that is going to look sharp. I agree that the big 'empty' doors are just asking for some kind of markings or emblems.
So in order to match...
I can highly relate to that, after my recent painting venture on the FEMTT! Seems like every time I turn around, I see another spot that I've missed.....
Speedo looks good btw...!
Ah I got you, I did not realized that you do the grader work. Are you going to install spray heads or a spray bar on the back of the trailer and use the pump to pressurize the water, or is it going to be gravity feed?
Ed,
The water storage tanks are there to supply the "Monestary of Christ in the Desert" with drinking water and to irrigate their gardens, and yes, I believe they are made of poly- something....lol
Btw. Some of the monks seemed to look a little concerned, when I first pulled in to their...
So I thin the paint two part paint and one part paint thinner. That gives me one and a half gallons per gallon as sprayed.
On the FEMTT, I have used three gallons so far and two thirds of a case (12 cans to a case) of spray paint for the small stuff.
I bought four gallons (It is cheaper to ship...
I have been using the paint from RAPCO for close to 20 years now and have had really good luck with it. I really don't like to do prep work, so the fact that this paint can paint over just about every surface and even dirt, makes it perfect for me.
It is also pretty affordable at around...
