Hi everyone!!:D
Just finished the structural parts of a slide in camper for my Deuce so I thought I would share. It started out a slide in for a 1 ton pickup but with a lil modifications and much added storage space it now fits the deuce bed quite nicely. Now just need to get everything inside...
I don't have a winch on my truck but that is on the (To Add List). If I had 1 it would make it easier to punch a hole thru the front of my garage so the truck would then fit, dont want to damage the radiator going thru the studs and sheetrock

I was on craiglist one day looking for a used compressor and guess what showed up on my search results......Drove over and checked it out and it kept wispering "buy me, buy me" . So now it's in my backyard getting restored and everything I fix just makes the voice clearer. Wonder what will start...
I actually took a few pictures of my dash yesterday so I could start taking it apart for a new paint job. Hope these help out some.
As far as the rest of the cab, if you need anything specific just let me know and I'll take a pic of it. Mine is in need of a lot of work but I think most of the...
A large air line comes off of the airpack for venting purposes and as it passes the master cylinder there is a T fitting. A smaller line goes from a 90 deg elbow on the MC cap to this T fitting. The large line should continue to the passenger side frame and then up the firewall. It ends just...
The petcock is on the oil system not the cooling system. I tried to drain the oil from it as suggested earlier in this post and after getting a half gallon of oil from it (no water whatsoever) and then checking my oil level in the engine (which is now 1/2 gallon lower) I have decided it is an...
I bought this deuce from a private party so I have no idea what its history is. It wasn't running but the IP is fixed now so it runs pretty nice. Everytime I fix something I find something new to go after. Fixed the master cylinder and wheel cylinders just to create an airpack problem which is...
Should I take the side cover off and clean it all out and see if there is a problem?? There isnt any water in the oil and when I drained the radiator there wasnt oil in there, it was kinna brownish but not oily to the touch.
thanks, Mark
Thanks both of you......at the same time lol
Does oil flow thru it though?? I changed my oil and it looks all nice and shiney clear but the stuff I got out of the petcock was black and nasty. Only opened it for a sec and got a lil bit out. Didn't want to mess anything up.
Mark :)
HI ALL,
I have tried to locate this device in the TM's but can't seem to find it anywhere. It is next to the oil filters toward the fire wall of the LTD deisel. There is a petcock on the side of it which I get some nasty oil like substance from. Is this suppose to be drained when you do an oil...
UUUMMMMMM!!!!......how can you tell the difference just looking at one? I have no clue what I have and its sitting out back.
Mark( Feeling really newbie again)
ITS FIXED!!!!!
I pulled the cage section off of the airpack and found the exhaust valve was stuck open. Cleaned it up nicely and put it all back together and PRESTO!!! ..... air pressure like its suppose to be :) That obnoxious buzzer finally turned off rofl
Mark (Not so newbie...
I didn't rebuild the air pack, got in a hurry and didnt want to wait for the rebuild kit. Guess I should have ordered it to begin with, now more delays. :( Thanks for the advice, I will pull it out tonite and tear it apart and see what may be the problem.
Thanks , Mark
The air is coming out of the vent line that the master cylinder vent is also connected to. Its a metal line that comes up the firewall next to the air cleaner.

HI ALL!!
Well I just replaced all my wheel cylinders and master cylinder , bled the brakes and was all happy I now have a brake pedal that doesn't just flop to the floor. Halfway down it gets solid like it should :). BUT......now I don't get any air pressure and there is air flowing out...
