Respectfully, I don't get this post. What "junk" are you referring to? Also, are you suggesting that my taxes are going to go up on my M35A3? If so, what leads you to that conclusion?
To address some of the points brought up by others:
I'm not sure how my M35A3 got valued so low. I don't...
I don't have the A3 registration in front of me now but I will share that information once I have it. I do remember that I only paid $6 and some change for the ad valorem tax and then $20 for the tag fee.
Sorry to disappoint you. When I created the thread I was all but certain that the letter had something to do with my MV. So I did not start this thinking that it was outside the scope of SS. However, it is still probably MV related since I did state that Cobb County doesn't appear to be...
The reason why I asked for advice is because you can deny a certified letter and I was curious I if anyone would make that suggestion and provide good reasoning for that course of action. I can't deny it once I have already accepted it and that is why I started this thread before receiving the...
Today there was a slip in the mail stating that a certified letter from Cobb county could not be delivered because I was not home to receive it. I did an internet search as to why the county would possibly send me a letter via certified mail and the most common results were for a grand jury...
BUMP!!! I have checked the totals and have not seen a single contribution in at least the last 48 hours. Come on guys!!! This is one of the most worthy causes out there. A community this large and patriotic has got to come together and show our support.
:soapbox:
If the girlfriend and or wife were going to military personnel who drive MV's then I would think it was MV related and therefore acceptable.
You got a wife and a girlfriend to put up? Are you former CIA director David Petraeus? Wait a minute... motorcycle also mentioned, you must be Bobby...
For now my center console is a car seat for my two year old and I wouldn't change that for nothing. Some nice ideas in this thread. I just have to be patient for awhile and then I might borrow some of these ideas.
Yes, approximately 400-500 BTU's/hour under "normal" circumstances (normal here means awake but sedentary). Most people put out between 200-250 BTU's/hour while asleep, which is what I was referring to since I doubt the OP would have that many people in the camper unless they were sleeping...
The advice in this thread is spot on. I had to replace the bolt on my passenger side mirror tonight. Below are pictures of the parts and the badly rusted old bolt. I used sealing washers because I figured they would provide a little bit of flex/give. From the trails at the SSGR I learned how...
This might in fact be spot on. I believe adults put off about 200 BTU's each and that number goes even higher (250ish) if they have been drinking. I kid you not.
