This a little off thread, but I'm having problems with my 923a2 intermittently rapidly leaking down its primary air supply. The secondary stays good as long as I don't draw much air. As soon as I rev the truck up, that air comes back up to 120 +- psi and sometimes stays there fine; other times...
Gunzy,
This may be a little late in the game, but here's epdm 5/16" O-ring stock from McMaster-Carr:

I've used it, and it works perfectly. How much do you need? I have some extra I'll give you.

I'm right next to I81, so I'll be taking that all the way up. In some locations, like around Harrisonburg, VA I'll take route 11 because I can only go 60. Harrisonburg is a zoo and everyone goes 70-80mph so I'll avoid that area.
I'm thinking seriously about going. I'll be driving my 923A2 up there, probably on Thursday. Is anybody else from sw Virginia going,, maybe we can convoy?

Hey Race Fans,
I just picked up an M923A2 from gl and it has two 4" square solar panels mounted to the cowl just below the windshield. Does anyone know what they are for? I thought for a moment that my new toy was a solar/hybrid/whatever and I wouldn't have to feel guilty about driving it on...
I want to build a home-made balancer, but I need to borrow a spare 5 ton 10-bolt hub to make my rig. I'm looking for a hub locally; will a hub off a standard highway truck work? If so, I could grab one at the local truck salvage yard...

My wheel valve stems look exactly like that. I'll have to get back out to the truck for inspection. My question will be if there are schrader valves on the inside stem, why did the CTIS work okay for 4 months and then suddenly malfunction?
My question exactly. My ctis worked until about a...
I looked on my 923a2 and my 925a2 and they only have a weight on the front wheels, opposite the ctis valve. Why are they only on the front and not on the backs? Also, does a truck tire shop balance them on the truck, or do they take them off to balance them?
Thanks!
Tommy
I like the ctis, too and don't want to disable it. I looked at the wheels and there are schrader valves in the line between the ctis valve and the tire. There is another on the other side of the tire port. Looks like they're placed just for convenience sake,, you can manually add air from either...
How can I keep the thing pressurized long enough to find leaks? I have a feeling its a leak problem, because the system worked when I first got the truck. I have to admit that I have run over a few trees with the truck, but afterwards I checked carefully underneath and can't find anything pulled...
I have an M925A2 with five lights flashing on the ctis. I air up the truck, shut everything off including the battery master, and then start everything back up. Before the lights start flashing again, I hit one of the other ctis buttons and one of the valves on the back goes, 'paaahrrump!' and...
