    Kansas residents wanting change?

In your neighboring state, Colorado, the MVCC got a bill passed into law where we still have to register a MV, pay for the license plates but we don't have to display them outside the vehicle. We can display them outside the vehicle but we don't have to. If we decide to not display the...

    Deuce brake problem Help needed.

I gotta say it's not too easy to put one on it's side. Kinda hard to check fluid levels accurately but......real easy to inspect and do some undercarrage work that way. rofl

    M220 AirPak rebuild.

Honestly I had several fabulous, Pulitzer prize winning naratives and every time I went to post they got ditched because I needed to log back in. So I truncated the verbage and saved the last narration in an effort just to get it posted. Sure enough that one got ditched too so I just logged back...

    Deuce brake problem Help needed.

The M220 has a filler tube threaded into the top of the MC that uses a fine threaded bolt with a banjo fitting to the vent line. The bolt looks to be 3/8 inch NF thread. The filler bottle in the HF kit threads right into where the bolt does on the M220 MC filler tube. I am sure it can be adapted...

    True or False

TM 9-2320-260-10 indicates "Pull out emergency stop control (6) if........Engine continues to run after ignition switch (12) and battery switch (5) are turned to off position. And there is nothing in the "warning summary" about a proper shut down procedure or burning up the Alternator if a...

    Deuce brake problem Help needed.

We just got done doing the AirPak and master cylinder on our M220. It's got 2 bleeders on the AirPak like on the 5 ton's. It also has 2 wheel cylinders per wheel. So it takes a lot of fluid. OldFart (My Father) found a brake bleeder kit at Harbor Freght that has a filler bottle with a valve...

    M220 AirPak rebuild.

There was a lot of time spent contemplating the options and reading the 800 series TM. But overall with the side tracking and everything we spent about 7 hours. But there was a lot of cleanup time, time trying to get the 800 series seals in the 200 series power piston and cylinder, calculations...

    M220 AirPak rebuild.

Rebuilding the 200 series AirPak is possible with the 800 series AirPak rebuild kit. Two seals are different between the two series of AirPak. Of course the two seals that were bad in our AirPak. The meat of the matter is the power piston seals are smaller in the 200 series AirPak. We had an...

    go prepared

GM put the plastic tray under the tank mostly to keep gravel from wearing the galvanized coating off the tank so it would not rust out as fast from the outside and to keep the tank from getting punctured by things like blades of grass, sporks from Taco Bell and lawn knomes (Don't...

M816 Doing Serious and Critical Work

It would have been awesome if 70Deuce paid the heat bill outside while we were doing the swap. Ha Ha. We just got the motor back in the The "Big A$$ Kahuna" and it started snowing on us. But at least progress was made. I'm just glad that OldFart finding that engine has seemed to work out...
