Some GMC pics for you guys

How often do you see a 211 and a 220 in the same place?:-D Not trying to steal your thunder. I think it's great that you guys are gonna build these trucks. Thanks for the pics.

46 vs 53 inch tires on a bobbed deuce?

395-85R20's. As big as you can bolt onto a stock deuce. They rub a little on the steering. The inner fender louvers are bent up and if you have any clamps on the j pipe make sure the clamps are turned with the treads axay from the tires.

    Goodyear 395/85/R20s on my M109

Every time I have done business with Hundy he has come through and treated me right. I have always liked those goodyears the best. Nice setup. That 109 seems to look great with the rears dished out. They look ok on the cargo trucks but yours looks fabulous.

Heating the back of my deuce

We use cement backer around the stoves where they are close to the side of our tents. You can't use it inside the heater with coal. The coal burns out the cement backer as we found out this year when we went hunting.

    SP97...? Titleing..? Hep me.

I would agree with that. I really think it would be a can of worms. I don't know about you all but I hate to eat worms. I'm just sayin'.

    Amazing Deuce Trip Experience

I hear you my friend. Nice story. I have this kind of experience from time to time. I have a few trucks now so I take it for granted on occasion until someone gives me the thumbs up or want's me to hit the air horns. It used to be just the kids but now I have guys my age asking for the horns...

    SP97...? Titleing..? Hep me.

The SF 97 form you have to request from GL. You cannot recieve an SF 97 until you have taken posession of the truck/equipment that requires the EUC. This way all the registration numbers are submitted by you in your request. This way if there is a screw up it's on you. So be very careful to send...

    Supporting Homes for our Troops

OK. To play the movie I had to select the production 1 that is highlighted in yellow at the top of the page. Once I did that the movie played automatically once it downloaded. And......Pop......You need to include the name of your trucks in your signature. What was painted all over the 220...

    Supporting Homes for our Troops

It was a fun event and a great cause. I really enjoy the MVCC and the events you guys/we put on. It really is more the royal we when I say we. :D I was happy this one was in our back yard and just a hop skip and a jump away.......I guess really more of a start, warm up and shut er down type of...

What is this on my grille?

There seems to be a lot of obscure things that happened with the M-37's. I have one that I have always thought was an M-42 and it has most of the things described here including the "removed" data plate location but I am starting to wonder what it really was. I will have to do much more research...

Heating the back of my deuce

Slumberjack Elk bag. -35* rated. Less than $100. Gotta be mostly unclothed as your body heat reradiates from the bag keeping you warm. I have used mine down to -5* and I was warm in the bag. Now getting out of the bag is an entirely different story. One must take their clothes and bring them...

OD Iron stopped making wheels, where to find this style now?

If you have the stuff isn't it OK to tell people where to get it. IMO that's all you are doing.

    Extreme Trucking

Yes it does save a lot of trips. That's why we started doing it this way. Used to be it was 2 four wheelers loaded for bear with trailers and a Jeep CJ-7.5 loaded top to bottom front to back no passenger seat and a hitch cargo box. Then we went to The CJ-7.5, My Wagoneer, 2 four wheelers...

    10 grade motor oil

Power steering fluid should basically be hydraulic fluid. You can run the ATF like Mercon/Dexron in the power steering but........I know Power steering fluid is more expensive but it is the right stuff for that application.

Steel Belt Radials for stock Rims

I don't know that those tires would "grow" that much. You may be getting side play on the axle when you turn.

    Extreme Trucking

The bed on the deuce is 12X8 and with the top bows and cover you get about 5 feet inside. You can always extend the staves for the top bows to whatever height you want. It's just that the cargo cover won't fit on the sides and end curtains if you go too tall. But I would make sure to get the...

    Record Time for Paid Invoice

You get a paid in full invoice even faster when you don't need an EUC. My Dad bought his M-220 from GL and apparently when they have been in service past their service life they are no longer considered Demil code Q anymore. Paid in full invoice directly after the auction. We got our stuff in a...

    24v LED headlights

They get it on. There is a guy in our club that has them. Sweet! For the price I'm still going with my Hella H-4 halogen conversion though.......Until the price comes down.
