    Deuce Loading Ramps?

Those pins are pretty good size. The angle iron hangs on the gate and the end of the angle rests against the rear panel of the bed. My geometric guess is that the hinges share the load of the ramp around 60% with the rear panel. Every thing is very solid. My jeep weighs significantly less than...

    Deuce Loading Ramps?

These work flawlessly. 1" square tubing. Thin wall. Ten ft ramps and this truck had 4" min. Clearance as it crested the deck. These show no obvious flex.

    Deuce Loading Ramps?

I will tonight. I made these ten inches wide and 10 ft long. I wanted them to be just big enough to load my jeep, without being too heavy. They are just the right size that i can toss them around and still be strong enough. I welded every thing solid so it would be as stiff as possible. About...

    Deuce Loading Ramps?

So i finished mine tonight. These are going to be just right. I can move them around myself pretty easily. Im surprised they dont weigh more. They are about forty pounds each. Im very happy. Ill drive my truck up tomorrow to see for sure.

CARC paint;how to remove-yet another question...

If you use a standard dual action 6" air sander and lock the pad so it does not orbit, and some 80 grit paper, that paint will sand nicely. A buffer with a hookit pad and 40 paper will buzz it down in a hurry too.

Need help with brakes on M35A2

I rebuilt my master cylinder and actually never saw the little hole. I had to do it twice. Lessons learned. At least it was cheap to fix.

Need help with brakes on M35A2

Make sure both holes in the master resevoir are open. There is one tiny one that releases the pressure that is famous for clogging.

    Deuce Loading Ramps?

The only reason i was thinking 10' was because i was going to put a 2 ft lock box in the front of the bed so i can secure items. Kind of like a pickup tool box. The ramp that he was using was super strong and easily loaded a side by side into my truck with no clearance issues. Im trying to find...

    Deuce Loading Ramps?

building ramps So. I have decided to build a set of ten foot ramps that have a Upper and lower square tubing that are attached by triangulated braces like a railroad trestle. I have them set at a height of four inches apart between the upper and lower. They will be a foot wide.I'll use expanded...

    Deuce starting...and running problems

Id bet that anything made of parts can be repaired with the right skill set. I say go for it.

    Deuce starting...and running problems

Was it running prior to filter change? Perhaps something did not go back together properly. I might suggest takinv it back apart if you have exhausted the obvious things. Did you pressurize the tank to prime it? Does it run fine after it has run for a bit?
