hello , I’ve had this 831 sitting for a few years (2) now. I have Fully charged batteries, the emergency stop pulled out, the DC breaker pushed in
but it has no power at the panel.

okay , I followed that path . Tested all along the above mentioned , the dead crank switch connections were very loose. after tightening everything. it had sufficient power. But still won’t turn on .

its been a while , I went ahead and replaced the fuel pump. that did not start the unit .
how do I go about checking the flow into and out of the metering pumps ?
no problem, I just checked to make sure it’s still up . Still learning how to work . The consensus is to keep going down the line . any additional tips
The gen was not running , I could never get it to turn on - and on top of that , it was leaking at the return line . So I started with the leak first .Now the leaks are sealed up , but it still will not Turn on .

I Disconnected the rigid line and i see that fuel is passing thru this side . But that doesn’t mean that the fuel pump is working 100% does it ?

Ok, thank you very much for that information . I see them on eBay. The price does not seem to bad . The upside down 1074 - was installed by “Oregon RSMS” data plate says -
I manually moved the throttle , I thought maybe that would make a difference . I had primed It for several minutes , added a little oil to perfectly full , and changed out the batteries , I was just trying anything at that point . I see this version on one of my other 802s.
I’m assuming these are the updated versions? I actually have one on hand , I’ll check out LITD tests first .
these Facet pumps - actually I noticed are in the 831a‘s , I wonder if they can be fitted into the 802-803’s .
So I took the top off and replaced the return an other fuel Lines going to the pumps . replaced the rubber boot on the fuel stop solenoid . brand new batteries I tested on an 803 . But this unit isn’t firing up . Below is a video . Do you’ll see anything wrong?
haha yes that's exactly what i was trying to say. I tried that very same "shortcut" process on a few generators, and they seem to be holding up well 3 years in, but i'm not going to chance it on an entire truck. Thank you for the input
