Well, it looks like I can post here!
Admin,
I typed a few paragraphs and attached three pictures to my other thread, but it only goes to a white tab and never further... :???:
Any idea what is going on?
Thanks,
Dave
Westex,
Give TM TM 9-2320-272-24-1 section 3-155 a shot. I think it is what you are looking for.
I pulled my copy from Jatonka's site. I just googled "jatonka tm m939", and John's site was the first to come up!
BTW, if more info comes up in this thread, I'll be keeping an eye on it. I...
FWIW, Eastern shipped me a batch of the retaining clips (some of the same parts I think you are looking for). I even sent them a picture to confirm which parts I was after.
The problem was that they weren't even close to the right size! I didn't send them back, they charged me less than a...
Indy,
Are you planning to add the previous totals to the results of this poll?
I'm curious how the previous poll was so close, but this one looks like a blowout for the third weekend... Maybe people voting twice for the same weekend?
Dave
JDMEP,
I spent some time looking for :
1598 Dover Street
Indianapolis IN 46241
and came up empty.... There is a DRover street in zip 46241, but there doesn't appear to be commercial access to the rail there.
I am south of Indianapolis, ~50 miles away from Stout Field. You mentioned in...
Well, since everyone else is going to use the "I had to work excuse", I'll use the "My wife just had a baby excuse"!
I hate that I am missing all the fun there, but I am happy to trade it for all the fun I'm having here!
Have fun and be safe guys, maybe I'll make it next year!
Dave
You can change the small "stop shaft" o-rings without changing the big Hydraulic Head (HH) o-rings.
I wouldn't risk 5 gallons of oil on it being the stop shaft o-ring, I would change them all. That comes from the experience of changing the oil three times trying to chase the source of fuel...
two.fiveM35,
Check out the "www.olive-drab.com" page on technical manuals here --> Military Vehicle Manuals Guide
With respect the the Deuce Manuals I referenced above "2320-361-24-2":
"2320" signifies "wheeled vehicle"
"-361" refers to the "serial number" of the document series (think of it...
Redbeard,
Check out TM 2320-361-24-2. WP 190 tells you everything you are after. Believe it or not, the toe - in adjustment uses the "center of tread" and a tape measure...
Grab a copy of it in the reference section of SS here --> http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce-tms/77607-tms-deuce.html...
The o-ring goes behind that diamond shaped piece of flat steel.
I added an arrow to your picture to show it.
If you need one, I would be happy to drop one in the mail (I bought ~30 of them when I needed just the one to fix the same problem with my m35) Just pm me your address and it'll be on...
Darn shame I missed it, that is a sweet M715....
I'll catch up with you at some point in the future about the other step (and the $$ I still owe you!)
Dave
Holy Cow!
Good thing you ended up NOT selling the turbo off that truck to me!
I am planning on heading your way tomorrow, but let me know if you need a hand before then. I think you have my cell number, but I'll PM it again, just in case.
Dave
Joe,
I still owe you some cash for the steps / windshields.
Since Gimpy will be pulling the X-case, this may be a good chance for me to grab the passenger step...
What timing were you guys thinking? I have a commitment Saturday evening, but could swing by Saturday morning or Sunday to lend a...
Dave,
Its a tough measurement to take with a pair of hand calipers, but I come up with something close to 0.475.
I have a "scrap" sitting on my work bench I would be happy to send if it would help...
