I agree a heat gun, warm just enough to soften the vinyl. Work from corner it will take some time. Your local auto parts store should have a decal remover (spray) that will help remove adhesive residue.

The center section (where the suspension attaches) is not included in any rust out kit I have seen. I fabricated the one in my photo. This is what is under the center section. By far the weakest point in the 151 frame. As you can see it is the point where the front and rear frame rails join.

After talking to the seller I don't think we missed a lot. Still would have been nice to get some pics.
