    It is a cj5. The m38a1 never had headlight brush protectors only the m38 did. Someone made those. Interesting that it has m151 wheels and antenna brace on it.

    That thing looks to be more bondo than metal. It does appear to be an mb however. The frame would need a ton of work never mind what is under all the filler in that tub. With that being said if the price it right it might be a good deal.

    The m170 is missing a lot of the very rare hard to find parts so that will keep the price low. To bad they are not in NH could really use a body off any of the m38a1's

    They should have mounted it in the stock location. Wouldn't be to hard to fix.

    Do you have the correct resistor for the coil? Are you buying a coil that has an internal resistor? Is your jeep 12 volt buy they keep selling you a 6 volt coil?

    I know guys that flat tow the m151 all over the place without an issue.

    the tires on my m38 are not balanced and a routinely drive around 50mph without and issue.

    I used the paint on my m38. The number you have is the correct one for ppg. If you take it to a paint shop they should be able to use that number.
