Hi,
Just wandered by. Looking forward to it again. I might talk a friend from Delaware into coming out at that time. They don't have anything like this back there. No parades, no military shows, at least not in the part of Delaware he's in. He's looking forward to seeing one of the events out...
I did take some pics. I'll try to post some. A C-130 Hercules made several passes over the beach while we were there. One thing that I learned was that there were at least two 75mm gun emplacements that were heavily fortified as you might expect, but they could only be seen from a hundred...

Triple-X Drive In show:

We always have a great time at that show. Best burgers anywhere, too. C'mon down with whatever you...
There is no DUKW forum on SS that I know of, so here I am. Looking for a set of drawings for the DUKW that shows the struts, skin plates, and all of the structure. A CAD file would be best, but I doubt any have been made. Restoring one and some of the lower structure needs replacing or is flat...
Looking a bit damp for tomorrow, but come anyway. Figure it's a free fuel trip and free entry into the biggest gun show in the state. We'll be parked within 100 feet of the pavilion building where the gun show is, so we can dash in and out, depending on rain. I'm loaded up and ready to pull out...
