My friend got a swing a way tire mount for is hummvee. It does not have the mounting braket or the latch pin. Does anyone have pictures of the mount and pin or have a mount that they are willing to sale.
To my knowledge the m38a1 did not have a tail gate the CJ5 did have a tail gate. I am not sure what the CDN3 stands for but it is possible that it is a CJ5 that the air force used. Pictures will help when you post them. I know that the air force and the navy both bought the civilian jeeps...
I drove by the FMTV plant in Sealy Texas many of times and have even taken a goup tour. They bulit some of the traliers there for the FMTV and the looked nothing like the m105a3. I thought the FMTV trailers use the same wheels and tires and the truck. But I could be wrong

Im sure it is possible but cant be good for the tires. The m113 track seem to be a little to narrow, a tank track I think would be better but how good would steering be and Im sure speed was cut down to.
