I think the desert tan can look sharp but it shows every spec of dirt and grease that gets on the truck. I like the Nam era markings and paint. here is a before and after picture of my truck I went Nam era USMC green.
Well Pics would help alot also know what kind of truck and who made it. Chevy made some 4X4 dump trucks but they were bigger than 1/2ton I think they were 1 1/2 ton.

On my dads M135 the winch drive shaft is in two section. he has the one going from the pto to the carier bearing he needs the section of shaft between the carrier bearing and the winch. Does any one have one they want to part with?

I have a PRC 77 set up on my M35 with the tuneable base but it uses a long antenna. I dont have the numbers of what parts I used but I can take pictures of the set up this weekend if you want
I used it on my M35a2 sanded the CARC paint and shot the primer over it. I did not thin the primer. I waited a few days than lightly sanded the primer and shot the green paint over it seems to be working just fine for me
