Just buy that black head key on Ebay. It will work great, and you will get it very fast.

Both of my CUCV's had missing bulbs. Disconnect the batteries as an extra precaution when removing this stuff. Folks on SS talk about shorting out the voltage gauge, and sparks flyin'.

Why did you replace it? I replaced mine chasing a gremlin.

Fluid comes out when you remove the Vacuum Modulator. It is only one rubber hose, and one bolt. It is located on the passenger side of the tranny, pointing out sideways.

Double check to see if the lines are crossed, or hooked up wrong.

My '28 is about untouched as they come, on it, that connector on the blue wire has black tape holding it into the original wire loom. This looks like the factory setup. It appears as that connector was not used for these trucks. Open that duct tape, and see if all the wires are isolated, or...
