When i got mine, the seller had to get a title for it. I paid just under $3000 for a good runner with a tarp. If the seller had not had good contacts and knowledge of getting things done with the trucks, i would not have bought. I say, get a title.

How does one go about having the motor in the pump replaced? When I pulled my non-functional pump it is a completely sealed unit put together with a factory crimp/weld. regardless, I need a new one.

I will be able to verify on Sunday, but I believe that I have that engine. I do have the Hercules, just need to verify the specifics.

Please check out a thread from sasquatchsanta, titled forty below deuce. It discusses the block heater option and gives a p/n for the heater from carquest. He used the front and rear freeze plug on the passenger side of the engine.

Go for it for sure. I just got mine after 6 months of marriage. The wife does not like to admit it, but she loves it. I cannot wait to start working on the restoration.

I park it right in the driveway. the wife is not overly happy about it, but no complaints from the neighbors. You should check out the local ordinance about heavy duty vehicles. Lot of vehicle to try and hide.
