Is the "oil pressure switch" you're referring to the switch labeled "fuel pressure switch" on the drawing? A low oil pressure switch would require a bypass around it until the engine starts and oil pressure gets up to normal. Very common on big diesel air compressors. Does anybody with a 66...
Went up to Richmond this morning to pick up my first deuce. Two guys helped me out, one of whom was the driver of the truck/trailer we hauled it back on. I couldn't have done it without them. Thanks John and Sonny.
1. With new batteries installed, panel lights/headlights came on, but...

I'm picking up my first deuce next week. I'm planning on doing a through brake inspection and was looking through the TM's on how to go about it. The TM's have you jump around to various paragraphs to do various parts of the job, so I thought I'd try to write something down, using the TM's as...
Here is a procedure I copied from various TM's on wheel removal, brake disassembly and wheel cylinder removal. I hope it works.
Right click on document and click "Open link in new window."
can anybody recommend a place to purchase DOT 5 fluid in larger containers than the 11 oz. jars from Advance. I'm thinking of something in the 32 oz. range so I can bleed/flush my system.
In the pics, the radiation being measured in pic 2 is .05 mr/hr, not .5 mr/hr. The dose rate you receive from a radioactive source decreases proportionately to the square of the distance, so say you receive 1 mr/hr at 1 foot from the source, at twice the distance the dose rate decreases by a...
Don't give up hope, people. After 64 days, got my notification this afternoon before I left work. Paid in full invoice downloaded, 3 copies made, now to schedule a pickup for a week from next Tuesday. Time to order some parts, hit up Harber Freight for some tools, contact the guy helping me...
My truck has been released!!!!
Just got the approved EUC, just have to schedule a pickup time. Of course now it's the weekend, so I'll have to wait until Monday to contact them. 64 days and the wait is over.
Great. I'm at day 64, and GL said my EUC is in "the final stage" of the approval process (whatever that means). Maybe I'll finally get my wounded deuce home.
From section 5B of the GL terms and conditions: "GL will determine whether your state requires a state certificate of title or a SF97. "
From section 5C: "You are solely responsible for researching state requirements for titling and registration in your state and determining if the...
I only spent about 15 minutes on the Hunley in Holy Loch, taking the trash off my sub to the garbage moored on the other side of the ship. USS Atlanta, SSN-712.
Without going to look at the terms and conditions, does it says 14 calendar days or 14 working days to pick up items. If items are only available for pickup 2 working days a week, shouldn't that give us 7 weeks to pick stuff up?
Unfortunately, the submarine I was on didn't have any trucks assigned to it. By the time my submarine was decommissioned and the reactor compartment cut out, with the hull welded back together, it was in Washington state, and I couldn't afford the shipping costs.
Okay, don't have time to read all the messages, I have to go back to work in a couple of days. With the price I paid, I'm going to wait this out, because I don't think I can get another deuce for around $1000. I've looked at mine and know what to expect. If it takes an extra month or so...
