I am trying to replace my tie rod ends during a front axle service and I cannot get it to come off. I tried a 14 inch pipe wrench as noted in the TM I attached, but maybe I’m not placing it in the correct place to get enough torque. I’ve hosed it down with Pb blaster numerous times as well...

Drivers side kingpin shim. … the grease was hardened to a rock like consistency. No way any fresh grease could get past that clog!

I’ll go ahead and install what I have. I saw the specs in the TM the other day and found it in another post on this site. Attached the picture for reference.

Inner axle seal retainers finally removed. The correct retainer is missing the inner thrust washer. I ordered 2 correct retainers from White Owl.

Just a few more pics as I await the arrival of my new slide hammer to remove the axle seal retainers. I'm not sure how it was operating normally, but one of the axle seal retainers is for the u-joint style axle shafts.
