The clamping bolt is part 13+14 in the diagram below, where the cable passes through the firewall now is only big enough for the cable, not the proper bolt. I assume I should enlarge the hole to use the proper bolt or it currently routed incorrectly. The second diagram shows the clamping bolt...

I have an issue with my throttle cable moving on its own and the idle slowly rising. I replaced the throttle return spring and cleaned and lubricated the accelerator pedal an associated linkage to no avail.

I installed a new throttle return spring. Not having the cable cinch bolt may be the issue as the entire cable is moving in and out of the firewall.
I checked the following TM and without the cinch bolt cant achieve the spec below....

During the past 2 weeks I’ve worked on sanding and painting my fuel tank mounts and straps as well as sourcing a NOS fuel tank and new in-tank fuel pump. I completed the install today after tapping 5 un-threaded fuel pump mounting holes. The tank also got a NOS fuel sender and a new fuel cap.

My original fuel tank developed a leak and I was able to purchase a NOS stock M35A2 fuel tank. I was removing the sealer in the moutning holes for the fuel level sender and fuel pump and it appears that only every other hole is threaded for the fuel pump mounting screws. Is this...
Replaced 2 fan belts this morning on my truck, after a nice test drive the low needle on the volt gauge is no longer low. The existing belts were at max adjustment; otherwise, I think a tightening would have got her back in the green.
