I picked up a second Deuce, a 1971 Kaiser M35A2 WO/W from a member on this site a few months ago and have been slowly making my way through it.
So far I have:
Replaced the air governor
Replaced almost all injection pump fuel lines (1 more to go)
Greased all points in the LO (with the exception...
I am working on replacing the copper fuel line on my M35A2 with the original primary fuel filter head mount.
If I figured everything correctly here if what I think I will need to replace the primary copper supply line with new rubber fuel hose:
In-tank pump outlet to filter - 3/4-18 inverted...
Would it be possible to leave an Airtex in line pump in place without power and have the OEM lift pump running fuel to the primary filter? The Airtex would be left in line as a back up and only energized if needed.
What fittings are on your fuel pump mount and the OEM primary filter?
I have been calling fuel injection shops and have not been able to find a shop that can clean and adjust the injectors for my LDT465 engine.
Can you guys provide recommendations on shops that know how to service (and are willing to service) the LDT465 fuel injectors?
Thank you
I have not driven in the snow, but have been researching the operation of the M35A2 with NDTs in snow... Airing down for snow seems to be a minimum requirement for NDT use on snow/ice. Chains seem to increase their traction on snow and ice, but I believe the NDTs are not aired down when using...
Oil change completed today! Going into 2023 caught up on the basic maintenance.
I’ve noticed my spin on oil filter closest to the cab always seems mostly dry when doing an oil change. Is this normal or common with the spin on filter kits?
I replaced all 3 spin-on fuel filters today. Last month I replaced both rear drivers side axle seals and did a minor break adjustment. Now my rear drum no longer runs hot.
Ive bought items from the eBay seller Augusta Engine in the past and they are GTG. If you direct message them they will sometimes lower their price and send you an offer.
The part number on their cylinder head seems good, its different than the old syle head which I think had different valve...
I tried to check the address they have listed on their site and it doesn't appear to be valid. The pictures they have listed also appear to be taken from Augusta Engine's eBay listing for the heads.
Anyone know if the NOS Cylinder heads PN 11682597 ive seen in stock at some online dealers will work to swap during a head gasket replacement? They are noted as "new style" multifuel cylinder heads.
Here is a link to their site, when I first ordered from them I called and they had the item in stock (it wasn't on their website). You can also email Nate at Nathan@equipmentpartssales.com to inquire

Where do you send the MF injectors for rebuild / recalibration? I have called a few shops including one that rebuilt my injection pump and none of them work on the MF injectors.
