I know this is a Bandaid. Will dive in deeper when things warm up a little.
Was way ahead of you on listening for air release. Could not hear a release. Six years in Corps though really put a hurt on my ears!
Will start with Lift pump and Filter Base first and work my way Aft.
When I...
I am with twomorestrokes! We need to be able to have a good understanding of what we have at hand. Otherwise Dingo Mechanics will mess up our Rigs and cost us a fortune.
MarcusOReallyus, want to keep O9 as OEM as possible. Really want to avoid Mods like that. I know probably better but not finished product I am after. May need to some day? For now I will replace what I can as needed w/OEM and where I cannot will adjust and overcome!
Hasdrubal, there has been a few times since being here that I was very thankful for advice from fellow SSer's. This is one one of those for sure!
Removed Fill Cap last night after returning home. Waited for a few minutes for heck of it and put Cap back in position. Went out to Cold Start...
Hasdrubal, appreciate your response! Will test lift pump for output. Pretty sure thats where problem is? If I drill hole in cap won't I need replacement after replacing lift pump if needed?

Fresh IP on...
Thanks for clarification jgb680! I have tried to get mine to go to ACC position many times. Your direction should stop me from doing so anymore. LOL Lots of mixed messages on this subject here!

24 is lowest this NoCal Jarhead has attempted. One GP cycle and Popped off like always. Sounded like somebody threw a handful of loose bolts in Crankcase though. After a couple minutes it sounds much better!
Funny that us Jarheads were still using the M151 when I was in the Corps. Loved that vehicle. Did not see an O9 till I went to Hunter Liggett for joint excersize. The Army had them but not us?
Thought you all might like this photograph.
Young Marine took this yesterday at a MAC Base, which I cannot disclose. Aircraft it is being loaded onto, destination and mission all cannot be shared.
What can be shared is that our beloved CUCV’s are still on active duty after all these years...
I went with the BFG KM2 33 x 10.5 and I am very pleased! Have 9.5" clearance on center of diffs, sing a little 45-55, do not pick up/throw rocks, wearing well, no rubbing off raod articulated with OEM suspension and they look GREAT! Wish they were not so expensive. Still very very happy with...
