chainsaw, by the sound of it our O9's are twins! I can milk 16+mpg out of mine on freeway. Normally around town best I can muster is 13.2. Have also been given clean bill of health. I to think something is up. People here getting 20+ mpg out of O9's. Just cannot figure how we can be that...
Not sure what temps your dealing with? Sounds like an engine heater would not hurt. Either way I think your problem is elsewhere. I would start with batteries. Just my .02
scottladdy, thought about removing pump from motor. Afraid I might damage in process. Looks like a couple flimsy plastic locking clips are all that holds together? Gather you have done a couple times. Must be fairly robust?

Recently rebuilt Washer Pump and still not getting what I would like for distance from nozzles. Do not know how well they worked when new? Maybe you all can help me with that part?
Instead of steady flow from nozzles it pulsates from them. Plenty of volume but just gets fluid to screen...
Why so dead set against magnetic pan mount type? My O9 came from UT. and that's what National Guard put on it. Just asking... When they die will it potentially damage power pack/vehicle. Such as catch on fire or something?
