Thanks Jed, i can't seem to find the TM I got the numbers (TM 43-0001-31 TACOM) but I can't find it to download it. Jed the list there proves M1075 (I think, or was it Doyle, I don't remember) that there was the M933 truck, tractor wrecker. I'd like the one with the drawings in it.
Does anyone have a TH that list all the wheeled vehicles and trailers? I thought I had it but must've deleted it. I'm taking it that nobody has tried to convert a 5ton cargo to a tractor. Hey Kenny, since you have a deuce tractor, do the 6 ton single axle flatbed trailers go with the deuce...
Theyre still cool trucks. Has anybody ever done a 5 ton conversion? If so, does anybody have pics? Ive seen pics of deuce conversions but havent really heard anything about 5 tons.
Yea the M920 thats what I meant thanks M1075 for pointing that one out, but if it's not a 5 ton what is it...
now thats a M52, correct? To be honest I personally like the origanal, but I'm a little bit of a purist not much but a little. Does anyboby have a list of all the 5 ton tractors ever fielded by the Army? Thanks for the help guys.
I just love tractors but I would like to have some pictures, info and whatever is important for the tractors (aka differences between the different models). Why? Why not. Any info on conversions would be nice too. Thanks for the info.
I'm going to go with two seperate systems because lets say the right tank gets puntured then all your fuel from the left would be wasted (if you run from left to right) or you loss the right pump you would still have the left. but then again im 16 what do I know.
WOW I now this thread is really old but I was just looking through past threads in search for a picture which I found but I was just wondering how everyone was making out with their projects they mentioned.
