How well do you guys think a transfer tank pump will work (for a filter cart)? The kind you see in the back of pickup trucks. Oh it says it can dry prime 6ft, and is 15 psi output. Thanks
Matt
The bulbs are in the dash behind the caps (like the high beam indicator). There are slots in the guage with clear plastic to let the light in. the caps are also what make the light red. I cant remember the guage size right now.

If you have no 12 volt items working, check your fusible link going to the 12 volt terminal block on the fire wall. You prolly want to have the alt tested to. Without actually looking at the truck that is the best responce I can give. Hopefully everything works out for you.

There should be 1 red wire on the + post along w/ an orange wire (fusible link) this is 24volt. The negative post has one red wire also, this is from the positive 12volt bus on the firewall. This is where the isolated ground is needed. If your alt is not isolated you will put 12volts to ground...
Put a ohm meter between the negative stud and the case if the reading is low resistance the alt is not isolated. But this could also could happen from an alt that is bad. Hope this helps.

Put the posative of the jumper pack on the positive of either battery, and the negative of the jumperpack to the negative of the SAME battery and give it a shot. If you have a volt meter check to see which battery is the most drained (lowest voltage) and attach the pack to this battery. I hope...
