It seems to me that they must have been purchased at a fantastic price to make it cost effective to cut them apart to make a regular truck. It had to be very labor intensive to trim all the meat off of those bones to end up with a cab/chassis.
Am I the only one that has to tighten my lugnuts on the deuce and M105? Part of my pre-trip is to put the wrench on all of them and re-torque the ones that have loosened up.
Welcome from a Ohio native currently in WV. Trailers are a great way to sneak into the hobby. I've been to the motorcycle rally in Chillicothe a few times  wild stuff.
I finally got back to the M880 today. I replaced the fuel filter and some dried out fuel line, cleaned on the carb and added some seafoam and fresh gas. I had it running again and It's getting smoother each time. I think that the float is sticking on it though. It'll purr for a little while and...

With all the guys cutting up M105A2's for bobber projects, you should be able to find a good (and more modern) jack for your trailer. Sorry the parade didn't happen for you.
It took a couple trips to Columbia SC but I got both of my new MVs home. I was happy to see the condition of the M880, no rust and a few dents and dings. When I opened the hood I was instantly a little worried, someone had taken the air breather and the radiator cap off. Those wonderful southern...
