That is a pile of lumber!! I believe that is the only time I've seen someone use the bolster trailer as it was intended, most folks have repurposed them to a new task. Great pics!
:D You have some of the coolest builds/vehicles! I for one miss the bobber threads. How did the 900 series converted to 4x4 with air ride turn out? I lost that thread and never saw the finished truck.
If you want speed, you should look to another platform for the base of this project. There are lots of civilian 6x6 rigs that would be a much better starting point if highway speeds are in the plan. The deuce was never designed to go that fast, or slow itself down from that speed. Would sure...
I actually am going to be replacing one myself today. I purchased mine from C & C equipment, they sell with the clamps as a package. The TM's can be found under the Resources tab at the top of the page.
Not to be a TM nazi but they do have very easy to follow instructions on this process. Take your time, be patient and an extra pair of hands would make it lots easier.
I had a problem with it the first time I filled one out. I googled "EUC" and found a generic form that I printed, filled out, and faxed to GL. They didn't seem to mind that it wasn't from their website. I just filled one out this week and had no problems...curious.
I have been following your build...just fantastic! Seeing the profile with the body pieces assembled AWESOME!! I can't wait to see some video of your M-880 off road.
