Hey R_E, I really don't think anyone has a problem with your ideas for improvement...just the way you convey them. I stumbled across that vid of the truck trials that you posted on youtube while looking for something else and instantly got sucked in. They have some amazing machines! I hope that...
The M105 pulls great! If you don't want to fool with the brakes till you get it home, your truck will have plenty of brake to stop it. Enjoy your recovery, take lots of pics.
I may be way off on this but what I understand is that the turbo and non-turbo engines had approximately the same HP but the addition of a turbo gove it more potential. I don't think you can get much more out of a non-turbo engine after it's tuned to the best efficiency.
The long deuce is the M36. SSSC I like your idea about the box transfer to make a camper and the M1010 is a cool rig. I love to read build threads from all these guys that have amazing fabricating skills. There are some very talented builders on this site.
I'm wondering how you fellows that are over 6 feet tall see out of the windshield. I'm 5'10" and I find myself hunching over so that I'm not looking at the wiper motor.
