I am putting a temp gauge on my tranny and I bought the weld in threaded bung for the probe.
I'd like to get a second pan so I can weld in the bung then do the pan swap in one shot.
Does anyone have a spare pan that they don't want?
Or it cold be a clogged filter sock on the pickup in the tank. I had a similar issue... would start and drive around town fine but once on the highway... starvation. I dropped the tank and pulled the pickup out and the sock on the pickup tube was clogged. .. PITA but worth getting that sock...
it is an air leak somewhere in the system... I had this problem for a while.
Could be the OE fuel pump too... they are weak. i switched to an electric walbro FRB-5
12v or 24v? I have a brand new (remanned) 12v from NAPA. just got it today... long story short.. it went out when I was out of town and NAPA didn't have one for 4 days soI hade to get one at O Reilly's... NowI have two with lifetime warranty.
It is $208 plus $60 core... I'll let it go for $180
ok, this is old but it is still happening and I really want to figure it out.
Anyone have any ideas about this?
Rebuild tranny
New U-joints
New gear lube in front/rear diffs - When opened I didn't see any signs of damage...
One thing i noticed is that if I come to a stop and then lift off...
I am asking about this setup...
It doesn't look like it is lifted... is it?
Those are 6 bolt rims... what size and from where are they obtained?
Is the body trimmed?
Are spacers used? if so how thick
etc...
How did this guy do this?
It doesn't look like it is lifted and it still has the original running
What is the easiest way to accomplish this? Is it worth it? How does a bias-ply tire really ride at hwy speeds?
PM Dieselsmoke he says he can sell them cheaper...PM and he will give you the price... remember to factor in shipping.
the only thing about not buying from Banks is you don't get Banks support if there is a question or an issue. You have to deal with the guy you bought it from... not...
