    Field trips!

Dudes and Dudettes I have got a great field trip coming up in a couple of weeks! One of my equipment suppliers has installed several 2K paint mix systems at the Marine Corps Logistics base in Albany Ga. Seems there are some problems with the pumps they use to mix CARC, problems that will...

    CCKW's for sale

All I have a line on (2) 1944 GMC CCKW's that a fellow wants to sell. I am not really interested for myself, but I told him I would try to find new homes for them. I have not seen them, but one is supposed to be fairly complete except rear body, the other a good parts truck. I am going to see...

    Locking Cab & Tool Box?

Agreed. I saw deuces on manuever in Fla around Eglin AFB and they had all kinds of stuff bolted on. I saw some that had padlocks on the doors, spare tires, and just about anything that could grow legs and walk off. If you are dead set against visible modifications, try some of the remote entry...

    Brake Shoe Adjustment

Dan You can download them from the government website, which is slower than Christmas if you don't have high speed internet access. I have downloaded the manuals and put them on a CD, along with a spreadsheet that details which manual covers what items. I think I have 41 manuals on the CD. Send...

    Banks Power

Man! If you're brave enough to try that on the wife.... I'd as soon try to get a kiss from a grizzly bear as try to muzzle the bride. Much safer, and the effects don't last as long.

Rockwell axle mods...and a good grudge.

Silly boy, that is the vent hole. You would hate for the pressure to build and blow up your axle. I think you should start doing all your own work. From the pictures I have seen, your workmanship is quite good.

    Locking Cab & Tool Box?

I think the issue is not someone steeling the deuce, but having a kid get in side and knock it out of gear would really suck. I agree with the power cut off switch, but I also like the padlock in plain view, it says "Keep Out". I am going to make up a couple of pairs and send them out to a...
