I'm not mad at all at what MINE sold for. As I said, I got more than I paid for it. Had I just broke even I would've been ok.
The only thing that was discouraging was how expensive the M101 series of trailers are.
Mostly I figure I just needed something to whine about.
I'd say simple green, as that's what everything got cleaned with when I was in the Army.
I've got some spots from WD-40 or something also. I went to spray wash and couldn't get it off. I quit trying, figured it couldn't hurt.
Not to hijack, but what, if any, bad things would happen if you...
I'm not trying to step on anyone's tube, just curious.
I understand free market awesomeness, supply/demand, and so on. However, I also believe in business ethics and the reality of "whatever is on the shelf isn't making you money". I learned that by managing a surplus shop in Texas.
The reason...
I just read on Wikipedia that they did the same thing in 1999 with some F15s. Any truth to that?
It lists it as strangely familiar with the 1984 intercept...
"On June 25, 1999, members of the 159th Fighter Wing, New Orleans ANG, while on deployment to NAS Keflavik, Iceland, flying F-15A...
I didn't do it, but mainly through ignorance. I'm not sure if I do the switch, is it still a 24v startup? If so, then it's highly likely I'll do it eventually.
I just bought one a few weeks back. It's my daily driver and the only vehicle I own. I've done very very little to it. MPG can be good as long as you keep it under 55mph (45-50 is really good). I've done 65, but it was so loud I wouldn't do it on purpose much again.
Good example of this-...
I towed my new M105 with a M1008 today. Nothing special, about a 30 minute drive from Ft. Polk to home. No issue whatsoever, I just kept it slow and steady. The lights worked as well as the blinkers, so that was good. It did look a bit goofy with the tilt. I'm trying to turn the lunette but...
Next time, go through Gate 4. You'll stay on that road that goes through the gate until the second stop light. Take a right, and GL will be on down the left. I usually say DRMO. I've had one guard just wave my CUCV through, and another asked if I was going to Government Liquidation. I've...
with the cucv-
I'm driving back from Alexandria (about a 1.5 hour journey) and I reach over to close my vent window. It's been rough, so I have to twist pretty hard to make it turn.
CRAP.
It now hangs only by the top hinge. At least it will close and "lock". Driving with it open is a...
I didn't find one, but I've driven the truck as a daily driver for several weeks now without it. I have to unlock the church and turn on the a/c units this morning. When I get back, hopefully I can remember to take a picture so I can show you what we did as a replacement.
Roger, kinda why I added that post about paying for shipping or figuring something out. I'm not out to rape anybody.
Here's my offer-
If anybody is available to pick up and ship, how much would the charge be?
I shoulda said that the first time I reckon.
Might have wasted yalls time here, though.
