    Another tire question

Tire guy I used said the same thing, at first. Two split tubes later he agreed to replace with the correct size. The smaller tubes might work fine if you stay on pavement or never have anything heavier than some kids in the back. But if you ever flex the tires you'll be in trouble. Luckily...

List your reason behind your MV

Because when we drove by the first one my little girls (then aged 9, 6 and 4) thought it was "the coolest thing ever!!!" And when I saw the grins on their faces after the test drive I knew there was no turning back. Now I'm addicted to the fun and have picked up a second truck and a trailer...

You CAN get radical w/ an M109!

Just a week? I think I'd need surgical assistance to remove it. Is awesome to see what the 109 is capable of. Thanks!

Riding on troop seats in a deuce

Under Colorado law an adult can ride in back at any time. Kids however have one rule: all seat belts in the cab have to be occupied by (younger) kids first. Then you are good. As for carrying in a parade, even though you are on a road, that road has been legally closed and it is treated the...

    Insurance!!

You do not need a garage with Gulfway. That fact is why I went with them. I've got both an M35 and an M109 covered by Gulfway and they are fully aware that both vehicles are yard parked.

    M109A4 recovery in progress...

One other thing we noticed on the way home, the transmission did not seem to like downshifting on hills. Does this sound familiar/right?

    M109A4 recovery in progress...

We pulled into the motor pool (my backyard) at about 3am yesterday morning. 1070 miles and ~39 hours after pulling off base. Other than the one battery connection issue the truck ran like a champ the whole slow way. :) Considering that this was my first GL recovery, and a long distance one...

Quick update then sleep. (Tried to post this at 0430 local but phone wouldn't finish POST) Made our exit at Gallop for the hotel around 0140, but the truck only made it halfway up the ramp. I was in the chase car, but leading with GPS navigation for the hotel. Had to double back 4 miles to...

    ~~What Not to do with a Deuce~~

OOooo, did that with a load of junior marine corp kids in the back after a parade. I swear that sign made a move at me. I've also never seen kids move that fast ever. They'd apparently decided to sit facing out after I started moving. Any bets they wont do that again?
