many civilian powerwagons of this period had them installed by the dealer or aftermarket.they should be easily found.a cucv guard is able to be installed with modifaction.you will like it.a good project.ive had several vintage dodge 4x4s,i stiil use this body style in an 89 cummins d350.a great...
both have there good points.in the long run it would be better to have both.the m1031 is the ultimate cucv though.it has all the heavy duty components and is extremely handy to have around.
i have an idea about a way to solve the euc problem.it involves getting approval before being allowed to purchasing anything.and then you can pickup in a reasonable timeframe.it could be easier for them to have a file as to who is approved.its a pain to constantly resumit these repetivite...
i have learned a few things since i bought my first m101 trailer on my first euc.buying a trailer is a lot different than gensets or trucks.BUYER BEWARE.
the last m1009 i pickup at ft meade has 14 parts missing.glow plug card ,starter.batterys.heater controls.all relays.even the back seat.it is a 34000 mile unit.and is nice.it is a pain to put it all back together.i paid more for this than i normally bid.i was hoping to get a better one.i am not...

5000 lbs is a heavy load for a m1009.i have three of them.they tow about 3500 lbs reasonably well.you have light axles and brakes are small for that weight.
i agree.i have had issues with everyone i bought.most are easily fixable.but time consuming.tow and have one less thing to worry about.you will have something to do when it gets home.
would like the lots that are closing first to be listed first.gl likes them to show up near the end.you have to scroll thru endless listings to find items.be like ebay and give me the option to search by time ending.a distance link is also helpful.we dont need data plate photos and repetive...
